He graduated with honors from the University of California at Riverside and Loma Linda Medical School, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at U.C.L.A./VA Wadsworth, and obtained the diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1995. Renowned for co-authoring “The Thinsulin Program,” Dr. Nguyen’s innovative approach to weight management has helped thousands achieve and maintain weight loss. Additionally, he is pioneering regenerative medicine, particularly in umbilical cord blood stem cells, to enhance cellular-level improvements in his patients’ health and well-being.
